Before house hunting begins, there are a few legal forms that we will review and sign together: 1 - Buyer Broker Agreement, which hires me exclusively as your Realtor, typically for six months. 2 - Buyer Due Diligence Checklist, which states that I sell real estate, and that is my area of expertise; however, there are other factors to consider when buying a property: performing inspections, obtaining insurance, verifying taxes, confirming utilities and zoning, etc. In short, you promise that you will take reasonable steps in order to satisfy questions that arise, and consult with experts outside of my scope during the home buying process.
Real Estate forms can be wordy and may need clarification. Please do not hesitate to ask me for more information regarding these legal forms. You should know and understand what you sign; it is a legally binding agreement!
